　　租房场景

　　首先辨别是租房还是买房。For lease, for rent 出租与for sale 出卖

　　房子的类型有：公寓flat, apartment, 学生宿舍dormitory (dorm) , 学生旅店student hostel, 青年旅店youth hostel ，还有一种叫留宿当地居民家里homestay.

　　一般房子有的家电或设施有：

　　炉子stove, 冰箱fridge, 微波炉microwave oven, 洗衣机washing machine, 空调air-conditioner, 电风扇electric fan, 冷却器电暖炉radiator, 电炉electric stoves ，

　　床上用品及其他物品有：

　　枕头pillow, 枕套和被单pillow case and bed linen, 被单被褥 sheet, 床垫mattress, 毯子blanket, towel手巾毛巾， 窗帘curtain，地毯carpet

　　房子位置：Road(Rd.), Street(St.), lane小路\巷, Avenue 大道

　　门厅的叫法：hall, lobby, porch 阳台balcony，睡房bedroom, 厨房kitchen,

　　租房的规律为：

　　离市中心越近，房价越高，位置稍偏，价钱会比较有吸引力;但便宜的房子一般有不理想的地方：

　　not near the center, not near the railway station, far from the bus stop, near the airport, noisy, shared kitchen, insects, a stranger in the next bed, have no privacy, have to prepare some repellant令人厌烦 ,insects haunting. 闹昆虫

　　电话询问看房子常用语：

　　Is it available now? when will it be available?.(audiy.com)

　　Is there a telephone? How far is it from…….? Is it furnished?

　　What is the rental price? How is it cooled /heated?

　　Furnished：意为配备了家具。

　　日程活动介绍场景

　　包括会议，节日，组织旅游等。

　　主要抓四类：when, where, what, why

　　convention, conference (会议)

　　开场白经常由会议的president或者organizer进行自我介绍，然后介绍会议内容，还要介绍会议的会期多长，经常考的考点---这次是第几次会议。

　　要避免经典陷阱，即听力原文出现的并不是所需要的答案。

　　例1

　　听到：This is my third time of the annual retailers’convention. I’ve been here twice.

　　看到：How many conventions have already been held?

　　答案： 2

　　例2

　　听到：This is my second year on campus?

　　看到：How many years has he been studying at this college?

　　答案：One year

　　例3

　　听到：

　　A：When will you send the equipment?

　　B: Well , we’ve got a lot of work on at the moment.

　　A: Well,say 25 June?

　　B: Can’t we put it later?

　　A: The last date is July 1. Why not say that?

　　看到：send the equipment by __________

　　答案：July 1.

　　要牢记剑桥人经常使用“靠后原则”出题，即给出的多个数字中第一个通常不是答案。这点要与考点分清楚，如果出现陷阱词这个考点了，答案往往在陷阱词里就给出来了。

　　另外常考的是会议地点，一般是在国家的首都。

　　个人健康场景

　　headache, got a headache, avoid smoky , vitamins,

　　maintaining a healthy lifestyle, diet,

　　try to avoid sugar, salt, butter not too much milk lean meat, fish,

　　nuts eggs, need lots of bread, vegetables and fruit.

　　看病场景

　　考点：健康检查 病症状况表现 医生诊断结果 治疗方案 相关建议

　　clinic诊所 surgeon外科医生

　　physician/internist内科医生 oculist/eye doctor眼科医生

　　dentist牙医 mental hospital精神病医院

　　vet兽医 psychiatrist/shrink心理医生

　　symptom症状 flu流感

　　have/catch a cold感冒 have a sore throat嗓子痛

　　have a stomachache胃痛 have a fever发烧

　　have a cough咳嗽 have a headache头痛

　　have a toothache牙痛

　　feel dizzy头晕 feel chilly觉得发冷

　　vomit/throw up/nauseate呕吐

　　pills药丸 eyedrops眼药水

　　vitamin维他命 tablet药片

　　medication药物 injection注射

　　cold cure感冒药 take one's temperature量体温

　　see a doctor看病 send for a doctor请医生

　　feel one's pulse量脉搏 take one's blood pressure量血压

　　have an operation 动手术 make an appointment预约
