部分倒装就是将情态动词，助动词，be等提到主语前面(通常可以还原成正常的语序，并以此检验倒装句是否正确)

含有否定意义的副词或者是短语例如：few, little, never, not, not until, nowhere, seldom, hardly...when... , no sooner...than..., not only...but also..., at no time, by no means等放在句首的时候，需要使用部分倒装。

例如：

Little does he know about the news.

By no means can he catch up in such a short time.

如果句子中没有助动词，那么就必须根据位于动词的具体时态了确定相应的助动词是do, dose, 还是did.

例如：

She is active in personality, and she seldom stays indoors.

She is active in personality, and seldom does she stay indoors.

Not only...but also...链接两个并列的主语时不能使用倒装，只有连接两个句子且not only所连接的句子提到句首时，才可以使用倒装，but also后面的句子不倒装。

例如：

Not only children but also adults are interested in the film harry potter.

Hardly(scarcely)...when no sooner位于句首时，要用部分倒装。

例如：

I had hardly got to the airport when the plane took off.

Hardly had i got to the airport when the plane took off.

Not until提前时，要是倒装，并且必须将not until后面的全部内容提前，不仅仅是not until这个词。

例如：

The villagers did not realize how serious the pollution was until all the fish died in the river.

Not until all the fish died in the river did the villagers realize how serious the pollution was.

Neither...nor...句型中两个句子都需要部分倒装。

例如：

I neither wanted to see the film nor bought the ticket.

Neither did I want to see the film nor did i buy the ticket.

So as neither nor为标志词放在句首时，句子用倒装。

例如：

I’ve got an enormous amount of work to do. So have i.

He believed, as did all his family, that you were innocent.

If she doesn’t agree to the plan, neither will tom.

Only+状语(或状语从句)放在句首时，句子用部分倒装。Only之后跟的不是状语时，不可以倒装。
